Sunday, 02 November, 2008 11:02The Cuda with #42 on it is the first of the 3 made. It is the one we use to own. The Gurney number on it is #50211. It ran both 42 and 48 during the 70 season. We ran both numbers in the vintage races. It is now owned by Andy Boone.
The one with #48 on it is the 3rd car made in mid season and was #50231. It is the car that was in France for so long and brought back a few years ago and restored. Craig Jackson now ownes that car. It has #48 on it because that is the car that Dan Gurney drove in the last race at Riverside. He also retired that day from active driving.

Wednesday, 04 July, 2007 19:06I may have the owner of this car wrong as this car was not listed in the even program. It was the #42 Plymouth Cuda that was listed as owned by Mr. Boone. Sorry.
